I’m Purva Mayekar, and I’m currently studying advertising with a focus on account management and media management at Humber College. I’m originally from Mumbai, India, but currently exploring Toronto. I’ve always had a passion for storytelling and how brands connect with people in ways that feel meaningful. I believe marketing is all about building those connections, and that’s what excites me.
Curiosity drives me to learn and shape brand strategies that resonate with audiences.
What makes me unique is my curiosity and enthusiasm to gain experience on complex things. I love blending creativity with data to develop strategies that not only look great but also work in the real world. I’m quick to adapt, and I’m always looking for new opportunities to learn and grow. I’m also a big believer in collaboration and always enjoy working with others to brainstorm fresh ideas and perspectives. For me, marketing is about understanding the human side of things—what drives people, what excites them, and how brands can tap into those emotions.

Interest
Beyond marketing, I’m just someone who loves to explore, create, and experience new things. Music and dancing are my happy escape—they keep me moving, just like a good creative idea. I’m a die-hard sports fan who thrives on the energy of a live game, whether it’s cricket, hockey, or basketball (there’s nothing like that last-minute thrill!). Food is my love language, and I’m always up for trying something new, especially when traveling and soaking in different cultures. I have a curious mind that’s fascinated by history, space, and anything that makes me go, “Wow, that’s incredible!” Winter is my season, blue is my color, and I believe life is all about collecting moments—whether it’s through a great song, a spontaneous trip, or a story worth telling.
